“Orlando Florida, September 17, 2011 – Studio K and the BASE Camp American Childhood Cancer Foundation Partner Together for Flash Mob Awareness Event in Orlando, FL Orlando, FL, September 17, 2011 – Today, Studio K, (www.studiokorlando.com), an entertainment studio featuring the largest offering of dance and dance fitness classes for adults in Central Florida, a team of leading photographers, and a national public relations agency, and the BASE Camp American Childhood Cancer Foundation (www.basecamp.org) partnered together to produce a Flash Mob Event to celebrate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September.
The event occurred spontaneously in front of the Amway Center in downtown Orlando prior to the “So You Think You Can Dance?” national tour, which welcomed more than 6,500 people. The participants danced to the song, “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” by Wham! and performed in front of the crowd led by Studio K Instructor and NAO Dance Collective Founder and Artistic Director (www.naodance.com), Linda Eve Elchak. Music was provided by Co-Owner and DJ Matt Rothlein of the PRO Event DJ corporation (www.proeventdj.com).”
